Our actuaries are grouped into two separate directorates.
The actuaries in the Direction de l'évaluation, de la statistique et de la révision are part of the Service de l'évaluation. Their main role is to evaluate and develop programs related to retirement income security and family policy.
The actuaries in the Direction des régimes de retraite act as pension plan specialists. Their main role is to promote and monitor the plans.
The Canada Pension Plan, which is social insurance plan based on contributions that are proportional to employment earnings. It ensures contributors stable and reliable pensions at retirement. It also provides contributors and their dependents basic financial protection in case of disability or death.
The
Gouvernement du Québec has entered into social security agreements with 32 countries. The
