Other pensions

• If you stop working before age 65 for health reasons, you could be entitled to a disability pension, which is higher than a retirement pension.
• If you receive a disability pension from the Régie, it will automatically be replaced by a retirement pension on your 65^th birthday.
• If you are receiving a retirement pension from the Régie and your spouse dies, you could also receive a surviving spouse's pension. The 2 pensions will then be combined.
• If you worked outside Canada, you may be entitled to a retirement pension from that country.
