Disability and retirement age at 65

If you are receiving a disability pension under the Québec Pension Plan and you turn 65, your pension will automatically be replaced by a retirement pension, whose amount will be lower.

At age 65, you will probably be entitled to an Old Age Security pension , which is paid by the federal government. Note that you must apply for it.
