Our role in the reliability and security of electronic transactions

We use the latest technologies and take every precaution to ensure that the information you send through our online services is rigorously protected:

  • We authenticate your identity before providing access to services containing your personal information to ensure that only you can access that information.
  • We use a protocol that encrypts your data, thereby assuring your information cannot be read while being transferred.
  • We will close your session after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Authenticating your identity

Government Authentication Service

Are you accessing My Account with your Government Authentication Service account for the first time? The Ministère de la Cybersécurité et du Numérique sends us certain information contained in your file (date of birth and Social Insurance Number). This sharing of information is done with your consent and in a secure manner. We then compare this information to the information in your file. If all the information is identical, we can confirm your identity and give you access to My Account.

In addition, in order to obtain a user ID for the Government Authentication Service, you must have provided:

  1. your health insurance number;
  2. your Social Insurance Number;
  3. your Notice of Assessment number issued to you by Revenu Québec in the last two years;
  4. your reference number on your driver's license
    or
    your reference number on your health insurance card.

You can no longer create a clicSÉQUR account. If you already have an account, we have checked your identity using your clicSÉQUR ID.

This site is governed by the applicable laws in Québec. Any legal dispute related to the use of our online services will be heard by a competent court in the judicial district of Québec, province of Québec.
