Current services

With the Your documents section in My Account:

  • you have an overview of the communications and documents sent by Retraite Québec
  • it is easy to find and consult the communications and documents in one place, whenever it is convenient for you.

Main documents available to consult at this time:

  • your Family Allowance annual notice
  • your Statements of Participation under the QPP and public-sector pension plans
  • your income tax slips from the QPP and public-sector pension plans
  • your Statement of Benefits and the Statement of Deposits under public-sector pension plans
  • several Notices of Receipt, Acceptance or Refusal of an application.

As time goes by, the documents sent to you by Retraite Québec will be gradually added to your digital file.

The digital option allows you to:

  • save time by eliminating postal delays
  • save the environment by reducing the use of paper
  • consult your documents, in an easy and safe way, whenever it is convenient for you.

Since the fall of 2019, Retraite Québec has been gradually uploading communications and documents to My Account. You can now choose to only receive your communications and documents digitally on My Account instead of by mail. Should you choose the digital option, you will also have to sign up to receive notifications by email or text message. You will receive a notification every time there is a change to your file, for example, a document that had been uploaded or information about an application.

Available from your communication preferences

 

With notifications:

  • be informed quickly by email and/or text message of changes made to your file, for example, when a document has been added, or information about an application.
  • track your applications in a simple, efficient and secure way.

The main elements you are currently notified of:

  • applications for Family Allowance
  • income tax slips (QPP, public-sector pension plans)
  • Statement of Deposits (public-sector pension plans)
  • Statement of Benefits (public-sector pension plans)
  • application for a pension estimate (public-sector pension plans)
  • application for a retirement pension (public-sector pension plans)
  • Family Allowance annual notice
  • application for a retirement pension under the QPP
  • Statements of Participation (QPP, public-sector pension plans).

When you file an application with Retraite Québec, you can receive a notification at 3 different steps during the study of your application

  1. Confirmation of an acknowledgment of receipt
  2. Missing information or document
  3. A rendered decision.

The notifications you receive are safe and respect the confidentiality of your information

  • No personal information will be included in the email or text message.
  • You will receive a note to consult My Account to see any changes made to your file.

Tracking your application in My Account allows you to:

  • Save time by accessing your account to follow the status of your application, and see various information and useful documents:
    • the delay required to process your application
    • the dates and different processing steps of the application
    • the documents linked to the application, such as the one in which you can obtain Retraite Québec's decision.
  • Follow the status of your application whenever it is convenient for you.
  • Receive notifications informing you quickly of the progress of your application .

  • Application for a pension estimate (public-sector pension plans)
  • Applications for a retirement pension (QPP and public-sector pension plans)
  • Application for survivors' benefits under the QPP
  • Applications for Family Allowance

  • the amounts paid (QPP, public-sector pension plans, Family Allowance)
  • the amounts to which your family could be entitled in the event of death (QPP)
  • the amount to which you could be entitled in the event of disability (QPP)
  • your Statement of Participation (QPP and public-sector pension plans)

  • CalculAide (Family Allowance): Calculate the Family Allowance amount to which you could be entitled depending on your family situation.
