Study of appropriations for the Régie

Appropriations are generally studied following the budget speech. Each spring, government departments and agencies have to forecast their expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year and submit them to the appropriate parliamentary committee for study. Expenditures for both the previous and the upcoming fiscal years can be subject to debate.
