Apply to receive child assistance payments
In the case of a birth in Québec, no application is required in order to receive child assistance payments. The child is automatically signed up for the child assistance program when the birth is declared to the Registrar of Civil Status.
Request quarterly or monthly payments of your child assistance.
Inform us of any change in conjugal status. In the case of the breakdown of your union, you must wait 90 days before notifying us.
