Guaranteed Income Supplement
The Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) is added to the Old Age Security pension. It is not taxable income.
To receive the
GIS, your income and the income of your spouse (married or de facto, whether same sex or opposite sex) must not exceed a set amount.
