Disability and other assistance programs

• If your disability was caused by a work-related accident, you must contact the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST) .
• If your disability was caused by a traffic accident, you must contact the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) .
• If you are not eligible for assistance from the Régie des rentes du Québec, the CSST or the SAAQ, or if the amount of the benefit you receive is not enough to meet your needs, you could be eligible for financial assistance from the Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale .
• If you have salary insurance or disability insurance from an insurance company, contact your agent. It is possible that an indemnity paid by an insurance company will be reduced by the amount you receive from the Régie.
