Suggesting an amendment to the pension plan
You can propose amendments to your pension plan. The person who has the power to amend the plan (for example, the employer alone or the employer and the union) decides whether or not to accept your proposals.
However, some amendments may entail costs that would result in an increase in the employer contribution or the member contributions.
To propose an amendment to your:
defined-contribution plan or defined-benefit plan
simplified pension plan (SIPP).
