If you are receiving a pension under the Québec Pension Plan (retirement, disability, orphan's surviving spouse's), Québec family benefits or child assistance payments, you will be interested in knowing the payments dates.

Child assistance payments

The refundable tax credit for child assistance replaces the family allowance, the non-refundable tax credit respecting dependent children and the tax reduction for families.

The Régie makes child assistance and supplement for handicapped children payments (if applicable), 4 times a year: in January, April, July and October. Payments are made on the first working day of those months.

If you would like to receive your payments every month, you must apply the Régie.

Payments can be made either by Direct Deposit or by cheque.
